WELCOME LETTER

Dear colleagues, friends and guests,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 11^th Croatian Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery with international participation and Expert Meeting of Operating Nurses and Plastic Surgery Nurses which will be held in Zadar from November 8 – 10, 2018. Zadar is a city of great importance in Croatian history and a modern center of culture and tourism on the Adriatic.

From the first Croatian Congress organized in 1998 in Dubrovnik by the Croatian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Organizing Committees of all ten previous congresses have provided the participants with high quality lectures, round tables and workshops led by renowned domestic and international faculty members. The Organizing Committee of eleventh Congress will try to keep the traditional high quality scientific level and will promote the exchange of ideas and cooperation.

The main topics of the Congress will be Breast surgery, Hand Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery. Trainees who are the future of our profession will be given special consideration and they will be provided with the opportunity to present their work and their suggestions for improvement of the training program. Nurses, who are important members of the team providing quality treatment and care to our patients, will also be able to present their work and exchange ideas on improvements in patient care.

The Croatian Congress of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery is also an important international event that provides the opportunity for old friends to meet and new friendships to emerge between colleagues. I hope we will all enjoy a few days of plastic surgery and have fun in socializing with each other as well.

It is my pleasure to inform you that the Expert Meeting of Operating Nurses and Plastic Surgery Nurses will be held in Zadar, November 8-10, 2018.
We organize this meeting within the 11th Croatian Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery with International participation in order to present the achievements of nurses and technicians and exchange experiences in our daily healthcare for our patients, before, during and after surgical procedures in plastic, reconstruction and aesthetic surgery. After the professional lectures we will hold the Founding Assembly of the Croatian Society of Nurses/Technicians in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Registration of our society will enable us to work better in the future. I look forward to working together in November in Zadar.
