I ove godine okupiti ćemo se u Muzeju Mimara od 31.3. – 2.4.2016.

Kongres veterinara male prakse je skup koji okuplja najveći broj veterinara koji rade u maloj praksi, i do sada je okupljao preko 200 veterinara praktičara iz čitave regije (Hrvatska, Slovenija, Bosna i Hercegovina, Srbija, Crna Gora, Makedonija).

Alain Fontbonne DVM

Alain Fontbonne graduated in 1987 at the veterinary school of Alfort (Paris) were he followed an internship in carnivore internal medicine during 2 years. After 7 months of fulltime practice in a veterinary clinic, he worked for the French kennel club between 1988 and 1993.

In 1993, he became Assistant Professor in the Reproduction Department at the veterinary school of Lyon, where he opened a clinical center dealing with dog and cat reproduction and obstetrics.

In September 2000, he was appointed at Veterinary School of Alfort, Paris. He is now in charge of Reproduction and Obstetrics Teaching Unit and is especially involved in artificial insemination and fertility/infertility in dogs, cats and wild felids.

He is a diplomate of the European College of Animal Reproduction (ECAR) and has trained 7 residents who all successfully passed the European College examination.

Alain Fontbonne has also been former President of the EVSSAR (European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction). He has written sevral articles, books and chapters of books for veterinarians, and has been invited lecturer in several countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.

Bruno Peirone, DVM

Associated Professor of Orthopaedics at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Turin.
Main filed of interest: minimally invasive fracture treatment, deformity correction, joint replacement.
Author of about 65 papers published on National and International Journals, Visiting Professor at the University of Bern (CH) Cambridge (UK), Zurich (CH), Missouri (USA).
Director of the Italian Continuing Education Program in Orthopedics in collaboration with SCIVAC.

John Harvey, DVM

Dr. John W. Harvey earned his DVM degree from Kansas State University and his PhD degree from the University of California at Davis.

He is board certified as a clinical pathologist by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, and is currently Professor Emeritus of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.

He served as Chair of the Department of Physiological Science for 15 years and Executive Associate Dean for 6 years prior to his retirement from the University.

Dr. Harvey is a recognized expert in comparative hematology, having published over 170 journal articles and book chapters.

Notable first-time discoveries include Anaplasma platys (originally named Ehrlichia platys) and inherited methemoglobin reductase, phosphofructokinase, and flavin adenine dinucleotide erythrocyte deficiencies.

He is author of “Veterinary Hematology. A Diagnostic Guide and Color Atlas,” and coeditor of “Clinical Biochemistry of Domestic Animals.”

Past awards and honors that Dr. Harvey has received include the Alumni Recognition Award from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Animal Clinical Chemistry, Division of Animal Clinical Chemistry, American Association for Clinical Chemistry, the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society for Veterinary Clinical Pathology, the Heiner Sommer Prize for Lifetime Contributions in the Field of Animal Clinical Pathology from the International Society for Animal Clinical Pathology, the Mark L. Morris, Sr, Lifetime Achievement Award from Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Inc, and the European Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology Hall of Fame Award.

Tatjana Zajec, DVM

Tatjana qualified as a vet at the University of zagreb in 2001. and began her career at Shelter for Abandoned Animals Zagreb.

Since 2004. she has worked as a shelter manager.
With other employees, she has worked extensively for 13 years and today their shelter ia a regional centre for education.

She is a chairman od Didona – Vets for Animal Welfare and she also works with other NGO`s in Croatia including a charity called Animal Friends as a part of The Network Against Animal Abandoning, helping local government in Croatia to establish shelters.

Tatjana has held many workshops for The Veterinarian Society and local authorities in Croatia and other surrounding countries as well at some animal welfare conferences in EU.

She lives with Hrvoje, a cat Iskra and dog Kaja and she likes to climb.

Smjernice za pripremanje plakata

Cilj plakata i format

  • Plakat je grafički prikaz istraživanja / slučaja
  • Ograničite tekst na jednu četvrtinu prostora plakata i koristite “vizualna pomagala“ (grafikoni, fotografije, sheme, karte, itd.) kako bi ispričali svoju “priču”

Dizajn i prijelom

  • Maksimalna veličina plakata: 90 cm × 100 cm
  • Jezik: plakati se moraju pripremiti unaprijed, na engleskom ili hrvatskom jeziku

Veličina teksta: tekst mora biti dovoljno velik da se može čitati udaljenosti od jednog metra. Naslov i imena autora trebali bi biti dovoljno veliki da se lako mogu pročitati s udaljenosti od dva metra.

Naslov: kućica koja prikazuje naslov plakata, ime autora i instituciju (ili odjel, ako je potrebno) trebao bi biti smješten u gornjem dijelu u sredini plakata (vidi sliku)

Materijal za učvršćivanje plakata: bit će osiguran od organizatora

Gledatelju: treba biti jasno kojim poretkom „čitata“ plakat. Plakat općenito treba čitati s lijeva na desno i odozgo prema dolje. Numeriranje pojedinih kućica ili povezivanje sa strelicama je standardni “sustav navođenja” (vidi sliku).
Ostavite dio neispunjenog prostora u dizajnu. Otvoren izgled je manje naporan za oči i um.

Crteži i grafikoni: trebaju biti jasni i jednostavni

Postavljanje i uklanjanje: autori su dužni postaviti svoje plakate prije 09:00, 1.4.2016. Plakat mora biti uklonjeni posljednji dan skupa 2.4.2016. do 15:00 sati.

Registrirani sudionici kongresa mogu prijaviti posterski sažetak, prikaz slučaja ili provedenog istraživanja.
Autor koji predstavlja sažetak mora biti registriran kao sudionik, ali ne mora biti prvi autor posterskog sažetka.

Poster prezenteri ostvaruju 30% popusta na kotizaciju za kongres.
Najbolji poster bit će nagrađen s besplatnim sudjelovanjem na kongresu male prakse 2017. godine.

Molimo vas pridržavajte se sljedećih uputa za pisanje i slanje sažetaka:

  1. Sažetak pisati na hrvatskom ili engleskom jeziku
  2. Naslov rada*
    Autor/i* (Ime Prezime1, Ime Prezime2)
    Ustanova* (1Ustanova, 2Ustanova…)
    Sažetak* (do 2000 znakova s razmacima)
    Ključne riječi* (do 5 ključnih riječi odvojenih zarezima)
  3. Tekstove je potrebno poslati u programu MS Word, font 12, prored 1,5, a fotografije u JPG-formatu minimalne rezolucije 300 dpi.
  4. Omogućena Vam je besplatna usluga lektoriranja rada, ali obvezno morate napomenuti da želite lekturu. U suprotnom nismo obvezni lektorirati.
  5. Svi prijavljeni sažeci će se izlagati u obliku postera
  6. Maksimalna dimenzija postera može biti 90X100 cm
  7. Ukoliko želite izvršiti promjene u sažetku ili dodati novi tekst, možete učiniti do 13.3.2016.
  8. Autorima prihvaćenih sažetaka poslat ćemo obavijest
  9. Nakon prihvata sažetka potrebno je poslati cjeloviti prikaz slučaja prema danim uputama koji uz prethodno uključuje:
